John R. Ledgerwood, CPA
John received his Master of Accountancy from University of Central Florida and has been a practicing Certified Public Accountant since 1993. He specializes in consulting, planning and accounting services for businesses and individuals with an emphasis in federal taxation. John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a Certified Management Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. John is an associate professor of accounting at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University teaching courses in tax, accounting, and personal financial planning.
Norbert (Bert) J. Zarb, CPA – Consultant
Bert received his Doctor of Business Administration in Accounting from Argosy University, Sarasota, Florida and his Master of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Central Florida. Bert is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Florida and Georgia. He specializes primarily in Federal income tax and oversees international accounting and consulting. Bert is fluent in French, Italian, and German and is a Chartered Global Management Accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Institute of Management Accountants. Bert is a Professor of accounting and the chair of the Department of Accounting, Economics, Finance, and Information Systems at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Eileen Ledgerwood
After graduating from Taylor University in 1980 with a degree in Business Administration, Eileen worked in the accounting field in the Daytona Beach area. She was born and raised in the Congo and speaks both Swahili and French. Eileen has over 30 years of experience in the preparation of personal, business, and not-for-profit tax returns and an extensive knowledge of financial statement and payroll preparation.
Cherriel Ward
Cherriel is a graduate of Geneva College with a degree in Business Administration. She has extensive bookkeeping and administrative experience in various businesses and non-profit organizations as an employee and outsourced vendor for over 25 years. She is well versed in several software applications, including Quickbooks. Cherriel is currently working on completing her enrolled agent certification and has been with us since 2015.
Diane Mitchell
Diane attended Daytona Beach Community College where she received extensive training covering the preparation and submission of State and Federal Payroll tax reports. Diane has over 30 years of accounting experience and is very attentive to detail.
Lisa Ledgerwood, Office Manager
Lisa earned her bachelor’s degree from Southeastern University and Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida. She has been the office manager since August 2016 and handles public relations as well as financial statements and tax returns. Lisa is currently pursuing her enrolled agent certification.
Paul Ledgerwood
Paul graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Asbury University in 2017 and has since been working at John R. Ledgerwood CPA office. Paul has experience preparing tax returns, payroll tax reports, and sales tax reports for clients in various states across the country. He plans on continuing his education to pursue a CPA license and practice alongside John.
